This year, alongside the Wealth Turtle and Health Turtle, we have the Fortune Turtle & Golden Blessing Vault - a set built around good people, good relationships, and good fortune finding its way to you.
The Fortune Turtle
Cast from the same solid brass as the rest of the series, with a hand-applied gold-sand finish that never tarnishes and needs no polishing, the Fortune Turtle carries a gourd in its mouth, a traditional symbol of complete, well-rounded good fortune. The shell is engraved with the character for "fortune/blessing" (福), a wish for smooth paths and good luck that keeps showing up.
The Golden Blessing Vault (New for 2027)
Like the rest of the collection, this isn't a just a turtle shell or a simple charm, it's a small vault built to house the Fortune Turtle and a pair of goodwill bells. Every surface carries symbolism chosen for the Year of the Goat and for good fortune:
- A ram's-head medallion at the center, welcoming blessings and good fortune for the Goat year
- The character for "goat" (羊), a phonetic echo of "auspicious" (祥) conveying a wish for smooth, steady blessings
- A full, rounded gourd, symbolizing complete and well-rounded good fortune
- Layered waves, drawn from the traditional blessing of fortune "as boundless as the Eastern Sea"
- Bats worked into the design — in Chinese, the word for bat is a near-homophone for "fortune," making it a classic symbol for luck arriving
- Blooming chrysanthemums, for lasting good fortune and well-being
Two bells, two wishes
Tucked inside the vault alongside the Fortune Turtle are two small bells:
- The Benefactor Gold Bell, for meeting people who open doors and lend a hand
- The Harmony Silver Bell, for things falling into place and going your way
A gentle shake brings a soft chime serving as a small daily reminder to stay open to the good people and good opportunities headed your way.
Wear it your way
Carry the Fortune Turtle loose in a wallet or bag as a quiet daily companion, or house it inside the Blessing Vault with both bells and clip it to a bag, keys, or rearview mirror using the included short or long beaded chain.
Temple-blessed, the traditional way
Every Fortune Turtle & Blessing Vault set is carried through a formal incense-blessing ceremony at one of Taiwan's most prestigious and historic temples, following the same centuries-old ritual as the rest of the collection. Each set ships in a keepsake gift box with an authenticity seal and an English care card.

Return Policy
Customers have 30 days from the date they received the item to return it. All returns must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number associated with the return. This may be obtained by emailing us for any inquiries involving a return. All returns must be in its original packaging and in unused/excellent new condition.

Ready to Ship goods are products that are pre-made in small batch runs using popular leather colors and textures that we know we will sell out. These items are priced slightly lower so that customers can give us an opportunity impress them with our craftsmanship and leather quality.
Why are the Ready to Ship items cheaper than the Custom Made items?
We intentionally price them lower so that customers can give us a try and evaluate us on quality and craftsmanship
Can I personalize my name on this item?
Unfortunately no. These items are pre-made and no personalization or changes can be made on these items.
How soon can you ship?
The Ready-to-Ship items are available for shipment in 3-5 days. Shipping via USPS takes about 5-7 business days, while FedEx is 3-5 business days. We are able to offer overnight shipping or 2nd day air on request. Please contact us at cs@storyleather.com if you need your order expedited.
