Quick History of Qilin
The Qilin is a mythical creature that has a dragon's head with one or two antlers, a deer's or horse's body, an ox's tail, and a carp's scales. It is known in China and other Asian cultures, but with some differences. The Chi Lin represents all the five elements of Feng Shui (earth, wood, water, metal, and fire), but it is especially connected to fire, so it often has flames around its body. It is the master of all animals and is respected in Buddhism as the bearer of the Book of Law on its back.
In Feng Shui, the Qilin symbolizes longevity, wisdom, celebration, career success, fame, endurance, fertility, and wellness. A Qilin charm can also protect its owner from being deceived or betrayed in business and relationships.

Customers have 30 days from the date they received the item to return it. All returns must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number associated with the return. Ready to Ship goods are products that are pre-made in small batch runs using popular leather colors and textures that we know we will sell out. These items are priced slightly lower so that customers can give us an opportunity impress them with our craftsmanship and leather quality.
Why are the Ready to Ship items cheaper than the Custom Made items?
We intentionally price them lower so that customers can give us a try and evaluate us on quality and craftsmanship
Can I personalize my name on this item?
Unfortunately no. These items are pre-made and no personalization or changes can be made on these items.
How soon can you ship?
The Ready-to-Ship items are available for shipment in 3-5 days. Shipping via USPS takes about 5-7 business days, while FedEx is 3-5 business days. We are able to offer overnight shipping or 2nd day air on request. Please contact us at cs@storyleather.com if you need your order expedited.
